The Double Tap™ bridge pickup delivers punchy humbucking tones as well as calibrated single-coil sounds at the push of a button. NEW SCULPTED NECK HEEL The rounded neck heel and beveled neck-plate improve access to the upper register and make leads easy and comfortable. COLD-ROLLED STEEL BLOCK 2-POINT TREMOLO For improved tuning stability, tremolo action, and simplicity of adjustment, this Stratocaster has a two-point tremolo bridge with vintage-style saddles. Additionally, the enhanced cold-rolled steel block adds sustain, clarity, and high-end sparkle. PROFILE WITH A DEEP "C" NECK AND ROLLED FINGERBOARD EDGES The American Professional II Deep "C" neck profile is slim at the nut and gradually fills out as it approaches the neck joint to create a natural feel that is ideal for playing both chords and single notes. It provides both comfort and speed. A supremely comfortable feel is provided by the hand-rolled fingerboard edges and Super-Natural satin finish. DIFFERENT ELECTRONICS It is simple to change your sound in the middle of a performance thanks to the performance-friendly push-push button on the second tone control, which engages the exclusive Double TapTM humbucking pickup and unlocks single-coil tones without any volume loss. ROASTED PINE OR ALDER Alder or roasted pine are the two wood choices for this guitar (on select colors). Alder is a traditional Fender tonewood with a balanced sound that works well in virtually any genre. With our roasting process, roasted pine, a light wood with a snappy and rich tone, is substantially improved in resonance.
